gardenerA gardener will be available on most Saturday mornings ---until March 3, 2009 --- to answer questions, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, on the Victorian walled garden at Ashtown Demesne.
Otherwise, the garden is open to visitors from 10am to 5pm each day.

Children's playground open for fun

playgroundThe new children's playground is open in Phoenix Park on the western side of the walled garden at the Visitors' Centre at Ashtown Castle.
Opening hours are 9.00am to 6pm. Entry is free.

Phoenix Park Visitors' Centre is accessed by road or on foot by the avenue from the middle roundabout --- Phoenix Monument --- on Chesterfield Avenue . The centre is a scheduled stop on the park coach's regular route. Coachs depart from and return to Parkgate Street.
